GEMBOREE 2012 BUNDABERG 6th – 9th April

The GEMBOREE committee would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year.

Easter will be upon us before we know it and final preparations for GEMBOREE are almost complete.

Thanks to all those who have booked their camping and tailgate sites already, the early response has been wonderful. The showgrounds located in Burrum St. are large and some space is still available, the booking forms for both camping and tailgating are available on this web site if needed. Contact numbers are also there, so feel free to make any further inquiries you may have.

There is now less than a month before the competition entries close, so be sure to get your entries away in time to reach us if you have not already done so.
The traditional Easter Sunday breakfast will incorporate an appearance by the Easter Bilby and an Easter bonnet competition, so bring along your creation and join in the fun. The younger rockhounds can make good use of their fossicking skills on an Easter egg hunt.

GEMBOREE Princess/ Prince registration forms will be available on site, so why not give that a go as well kids, you may win some “Royal Jewels”.

The Bundaberg club last hosted a GEMBOREE in 1990, we look forward, along with the other clubs in the QGCA, to being your hosts this year and we will do our best to ensure that everyone has a great time.

Bundaberg also has much to offer the visitors to our town and those of you who have never been here before will be assured of finding plenty to occupy any spare time you may have.
