I live in Rockhampton, the entries were delivered to Nambour.
We came together in Bundaberg on 31 st January, 1 st February and 2 nd February in what should have been a two day event to get the entries into the GEMS program. One of the reasons for the duration was the illegibility of some entries.
Generally, when we enter the entries for a competitor, if they have provided an email address, the GEMS program will send a receipt.
HOWEVER, I purchased a new computer to carry out this task. In their wisdom, Microsoft install only the NEW version of outlook. This is not compatible with the Microsoft Access programme; therefore, I have had to print out ALL receipts. I have since found out that the new version has overwritten the old version, so all our computers have the new version, even if we choose to select not to use it.
As a consequence, I have returned home, acquired lots of envelopes and will post the receipt of entries form/s in the next day or two, on my way to Brisbane for specialist appointment.
All entries have been distributed to judges.
